BAR WEEK: GREEN BENCH BREWERY

To kick off Tampa Bay Beer Week 2016, we are deciding to highlight a Florida brewery each day of the week! We would like to start with our friends right down to road at Green Bench Brewery! Green Bench was St. Petersburg’s very FIRST microbrewery. They have a 15 barrel brewhouse and a 1,500 square foot tasting room with a beautiful view straight into the brewery! If you haven’t been in yet, the only question I have for you is…WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!? 🙂

What we love most about this brewery, aside from the beer of course, is the history! They call it ‘Green Bench Brewery’ because back in the 1900’s if you were to visit St. Petersburg, the city would be lined with nothing but Green Benches that would allow the passers by to slow down and chat with the strangers and make friends!

This week when you visit us, we will be tapping Saturday, their BeeMo Saison & their Coffee Pot Bayou Stout which is brewed with roasted local coffee beans. I love the name..always keeping it local & connected with Downtown St. Petersburg!
